The "Arctic" exhibit is home to our polar
bear.   While lurking over the breathing
hole of a seal, he anticipates his next meal. An arctic fox sneaks past, hoping for a morsel.

"Alaska" is home to an 8 ft. 7 in. Kodiak
bear from the Alaskan Peninsula.  A silver fox and a lynx focus on their next meal--a red squirrel.  A ruffed grouse and green winged teal fly in the background.

Jaguar.jpg (40258 bytes)
"Central America" hosts a jaguar, ocelot, armadillo, and a canebrake rattler
poised to strike, in a jungle setting so
real, you can almost hear the sounds
of the tropical forest.

"North America" is home to a record bull
elk. Pronghorn, deer, beaver, sheep,
and too many more to list are from all over the continent on display, many full life-size.

A full body mount of an 1800 lb. American
Bison is guaranteed to stop you dead in
your tracks when your first see it.  He
looks as if he is about to come out from
behind the glass and trample you.

moose.jpg (22321 bytes)

A Boone & Crockette record moose that
was one of the top ten in the 60's scored
in the upper 300's.

Another breathtaking animal is the Mountain
Lion.  He sits at the bottom of the canyon contemplating whether or not to try a get past the buffalo without being seen.

africa2.jpg (20924 bytes)

"Africa" has a collection of mounts and a mural that draws one to the African heartland.
